Diesel Engine
  Technical Information:
 
Vertical Diesel Engine is rated on the effective horse power at engine crankshaft as a maximum load for continuous running. Each engine is tested as per IS 11170:1985 to give continuous rating.
  COOLING:
 
Engine Cooling is efficiently handled by a run-through water supply.
  LUBRICATION:
  All internal Moving Parts are lubricated by splash system. Parts like Valves, Push Rod etc. could be lubricated with oil can.
  ROTATION:
 

(a) Slow Speed - vertical - double fly wheel type Engine: Standard rotation is clockwise facing flywheel keeping exhaust on the left hand side.

(b) High Speed - vertical - single fly wheel type Engine: Standard rotation is clockwise facing from the flywheel side.

  FUEL INJECTION EQUIPMENT:
  MICO - USHA: Fuel Injection Equipment.
  GOVERNING:
  A sensitive centrifugal type Governor is mounted on Camshaft Gear Wheel. Speed variation is controlled within limit to comply with "B1" Class Governing as mentioned is IS 11170 - (Part-7)1985.
  AIR CLEANER:
  Oil bath type Air Cleaner is Provided to clean incoming Air. Use of clear air increases the list of Cylinder Liner
  STANDARD ACCESSORIES:
